Yamanaka

Founded in 1972, the sushi restaurant Yamanaka has since the beginning been a name to remember for a sushi experience like no other. Seven Stars in Kyushu brings the sushi to you aboard the train. Fresh seafood caught locally in the Genkai Sea that is made by the chef right on the train is a recipe for melt-in-your-mouth sushi and a meal to remember.

Georges Marceau

Georges Marceau is an esteemed restaurant with French cuisine. The food is delicious and unique, and incorporates Kyushu's finest ingredients to make for exquisite cuisine only for the finest of palates. The Seven Stars in Kyushu brings the fine meal to you on the train.

Restaurant Kasei * Olmo Coppia

Right off Aso Station, is a warm and inviting refurbished farmhouse, Restaurant Kasei. Here you will be able to enjoy clean and warming dishes made using only the best ingredients, great for the body and soul. The vegetables are organic and locally grown, allowing you to enjoy simple pleasures while ensuring that you’re putting only the best in your body.

Housun

The food at Hosun is just as much artwork as it is food. Drawing inspiration from the four seasons and the land, each dish is created with precision and passion. Enjoy delicious Japanese foods that has been created through a unique and creative perspective aboard the Seven Stars in Kyushu train.

Wakaeya

With over 300 years of history, Wakaeya is known for its famous sea bream chazuke. The dish is enjoyed with a rich sesame sauce, a family recipe that has been passed down through the generations. This classic dish has an interesting history where it is said that the local king once tried the food and uttered “Ureshinou” (Translates to: I am delighted) which became the name of the dish. Seven Stars in Kyushu allows you to experience the flavors and aromas of the dish to you aboard the train.

Shigetomisoh

Manor House Shimadu Shigetomisoh once served as the private residence of famous samurai, Shimadu Hisamitsu. Now it houses the French restaurant Automne. Seven Stars in Kyushu brings the rich cuisine of the restaurant to you on the train.

Seiryu Sansuika Ayuno Sato

Seiryu Sansuika Ayu no Sato is normally found in the well-known Japanese ryokan, Hitoyoshi and serves simple but delectable Japanese dishes. For your last meal aboard the Seven Stars in Kyushu train, you can enjoy seasonal flavors and fresh ingredients. The meal doubles as a feast for the eyes, allowing you to get the full taste of Kyushu.

Originally built as a resort villa for a great noble during the Taisho Period, it has since been made into a traditional Japanese ryokan. The ryokan is considered one of the best, and boasts simple and charming cottages with Japanese-style rooms and a main building with Western style rooms. We recommend taking a morning stroll and relaxing in an environment surrounded by green gardens.
