Yokohama Central Wholesale Market
Located near Yokohama Station, the Yokohama Central Wholesale Market is Japan’s third-oldest market with a rich history. Wholesalers from across Japan and the world gather here to distribute fresh food to retailers and restaurants. While the market is typically closed to the general public, its annex offers restaurants and shops where visitors can enjoy fresh seafood.

Every Saturday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, the Marine Products Hall opens to the public for seafood shopping. Special events like tuna-cutting demonstrations take place on the first and third Saturdays of each month. Visitors can also participate in the “Market Exploration Tour,” which runs almost daily (except market holidays). This tour offers a rare chance to observe auctions, sample fresh seafood, and purchase exclusive items, creating a memorable experience with the lively market atmosphere.

CUPNOODLES MUSEUM YOKOHAMA
At The CUPNOODLES MUSEUM YOKOHAMA, you can create your own CUPNOODLES at the My CUPNOODLES Factory by choosing your design, one of four soups, and four toppings from 12 ingredients. Other attractions include the CUPNOODLES Park, where you can experience the manufacturing process as if you were a noodle, and the Chicken Ramen Factory, where you can hand-make the world’s first instant ramen.

From February 1 to February 28, 2025, the Chicken Ramen Factory offers a special Valentine’s Day-themed program where you can create heart-shaped chicken ramen. Perfect for gifts or shared memories with loved ones, this unique experience combines fun and sentimentality.
