Yokohama, a port city where Western and Japanese cultures have blended, offers a unique experience of art this month.
One of the highlights is Sankeien Garden, a place where the beauty of historic architecture and nature harmonize. Spanning over 175,000 square meters (about 43 square acres), the garden itself can be considered a work of art, with its stunning design and landscapes carefully curated.
Out of the 17 historical buildings, 10 are designated as Important Cultural Properties, and the entire garden is recognized as a national scenic spot. The Sankeien Memorial Hall, which showcases exquisite collections, is also a must-see.
